JMG administers the Youth Employment and Training program for District 10 (Northwest Montana) and is funded through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The program is designed to increase educational opportunities, assist with completing high school or obtaining a HiSET, explore career options and provide meaningful subsidized work experiences. We assist with finding educational and career opportunities that allow Montana’s Youth to improve their personal and professional skills.WIOA Youth Service Provider List
- In-School clients ages 14yrs-21yrs
- Out-of-School clients ages 16yrs-24yrs
Services may include but are not limited to:
- academic assistance
- assistance with educational placement
- career planning
- paid / unpaid work experience
- leadership development
WIOA Employment and Training Program is not an entitlement program and certain eligibility criteria must be met prior to participation in planned activities.
